Warhorses come from behind to beat Bandera

Trailing at the half 28-31, the Warhorses stepped it up in the last two quarters to beat Bandera 57-52 last Tuesday. The Warhorses played aggressively on both the offensive and defense. The Warhorses helped gain the lead by making 70 percent of their free throws and in the second half alone they made 13 of 17 free throws.
Jacob Oyola scored 15 points making 13 of 17 free throws. He made the most free throw shots of the game. Justin Contreras scored 12 points. Leonard Pompa made 12 points off his four 3 pointers. Daniel Ramirez scored 9 points and made 88% of his free throws. Cash Walker scored 9 points and Brady Cardenas scored 1 point.
The Warhorses will have a few day s off for the holidays and will open the New Year against Central Catholic January 3rd. District starts January 12th against Crystal City.
