Tri-County Antique Tractor Pull and scholarship fundraiser Dec. 2

The 9th Annual Antique Tractor Pull will be hosted in Devine Saturday, December 2 to benefit the Jason Loessberg Memorial Scholarship Program. In 2001, the scholarship was formed in memory of our son, Jason Loessberg, to carry on his legacy of a hardworking, well respected young man that loved to farm and work on trucks. The scholarships that are given average $5,000 each year for graduating seniors that attend Devine ISD or Medina Valley ISD, pursuing university or technical school degrees in Agricultural and/or Mechanics. Grade point average is not a considering factor, only the personal desire to further their education in these fields. Scholarship applications can be obtained from your high school counselors.
The antique tractor pull will be held at the Mello Tractor Pull facility, located at CR 7713 and FM 173, one mile south of IH 35 S. in Devine, TX. Pulling sled provided by the Tri County Antique Tractor Pullers Association. The public is cordially invited to enjoy the pulls under a covered seating facility. Any donation at the gate is appreciated. Concessions are available. This is great family fun for all ages.
Friday, Dec.1, will be a practice pull starting at 6:00 pm. This is a great time to come out and talk with the pullers. Tractors must have been in production prior to 1960 to compete in the antique pull. Saturday, Dec. 2, the official tractor pull will begin around 10:30 a.m. Signups for pullers will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a fee of $20.00 per hook. Weight classes will range from 2,600 to 13,600lbs. All makes and models will compete, come out and support your favorite tractor and puller. This makes for great nostalgic fun for the grandparents.
We wish to give special thanks to our family and friends, the Carroll Keller family and the Anthony Mello family for their support. We hope you will come and join us for some great family fun.
