Public Hearings to allow for citizen comments on the City of Natalia’s proposed Fiscal Year 2021-2022 tax rate and budget will be held on Monday, September 20 beginning at 6:45 PM.
The Regularly monthly Council meeting will follow at 7:00 PM.
The proposed tax rate for the upcoming Fiscal Year is $.7162 per $100 of valuation, a decrease from the current rate.
“Currently it’s $.7367, which means if you had a $100,000 house and you still have a $100,000 house, your taxes will actually decrease,” Hinojosa said.
