Natalia Police Report Sept. 11-16


Sept. 11
12:05 AM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Barlett St. about an open door at a residence. Officer made the location and contacted the homeowner. Officer checked the entire house for prowlers and didn’t find anyone inside the house or any damage to the house. Officer gathered all his information and cleared the scene.
4:46 PM – Officer responded to 400 blk. of 5th St. about a vehicle blocking a private driveway. Officer contacted the complainant and advised him he would find out where the driver was at. Officer later found the driver and had him move his vehicle without any further issues.
Sept. 12
12:23 PM – Officer responded to IH-35 Southbound mile marker 127 about a crash that occurred in the interstate. Officer provided traffic control until DPS arrived on scene and took over the crash investigation. Officer later cleared the scene.
Sept. 16
6:20 AM – Officer responded to Beverage Express on Hwy. 132 N. about a burglary of a building that occurred overnight. Officer spoke to both the manager and owner of the store. The owner stated that someone pushed open a small window close to where the lottery tickets were and took approximately $1,900 in lottery tickets. Officer collected all the information and the case is pending.
