Natalia Police Report May 21-26

May 21
8:05 PM – Officer was dispatched to assist DPS with a stalled vehicle at FM 471 and IH-35 N. access road. Officer arrived on location and directed traffic until the vehicle was removed by a wrecked and cleared the roadway.
May 24
3:00 PM – Officer was dispatched to the intersection of 4th and Kearney St. in reference to a vehicle crashing into a telephone pole. Officer evaluated the crash and assessed damages and possible injuries that occurred to the female driver. The driver was taken to a local hospital in San Antonio for medical evaluation.
9:47 PM – Officer was dispatched to the NHS baseball field in reference to a suspicious person digging through trash. Officer made contact with a Hispanic male hiding behind the bleachers. The male subject was checked for any warrants and came back with negative results. Officer advised the subject he had to leave and not be on school property after hours. No further action was taken.
May 25
3:40 PM – Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of 3rd St. in reference to a residential alarm. Officer arrived on location and made contact with the homeowner. The homeowner advised he was sitting in his car with the air conditioning on due to a power outage. The homeowner regained power and was able to disarm the alarm.
May 26
4:36 PM – Officer received a call of threats at the 700 block of 4th St. Officer arrived on location and contacted the complainant. The complainant stated another male subject had threatened him via text message that he wanted to attack him at his residence. The case is under investigation.
5:50 PM – Officer was dispatched to 5th and Pearson for a transformer bowing up, causing it to start a fire on the pole. The fire was put out and the officer was able to cancel fire.
