Natalia ISD welcomed two new administrators to the district with the hiring of Elementary principal Carmen Maglievaz and NJHS counselor Tiffanie Sagia.

Carmen Maglievaz
The Natalia School Board voted to hire Maglievaz as Elementary principal on the recommendation of Superintendent Dr. Hensley Cone.
Maglievaz has eight years of elementary, middle school, and high school administrative experience in previous stints at Sheldon ISD and Poteet ISD.
“Ms. Maglievaz brings a strong elementary experience as a teacher, administrator, and advocate for Early Childhood and Elementary literacy programs,” Cone said.
Maglievaz said she was looking forward to joining the ranks of Natalia ISD.
“I cannot wait to meet our young learners and their families throughout the summer and once school starts back,” Maglievaz said. “I encourage all our students to visit the book bus as it visits neighborhoods throughout the summer. Next year will be a year of working hard and playing hard for our Mustangs as we Build Better Lives Utilizing Education.”
Tiffanie Sagia
Sagia comes to the district from Hondo ISD, where she was a Special Education Counselor and At-Risk Counselor.
Among Sagia’s responsibilities in Hondo were the creation of Response to Intervention (RTI) for behavior programs, assisting teachers with students who struggled with academic or behavioral issues, and helping teachers and staff implement instructional and behavior strategies.
“We are pleased to have Mrs. Sagia on our Natalia Junior High team,” Cone said.
