Natalia Baseball/Softball set for Jourdanton Tournaments

The Natalia Mustang Baseball and the Natalia Lady Mustang Softball travel to Atascosa County this weekend for a competitive three day tournament. Below is tourney info for both squads.
Natalia Baseball- Natalia rounded out scrimmage action Saturday vs. the Randolph Ro-Hawks. Coach Kasey Crowther had the following to say about the season thus far: “”We have played some clean baseball and made solid contact with good execution thus far during scrimmage play,” Crowther said. “We still have a long way to go, but I am happy with the overall team play.”
Monday, February 21st Natalia’s season opener was cut short in Natalia vs. Hondo due to an on the field situation involving both teams. Hondo led 3-1 when the game was called by the umpires.

This weekend, Natalia will make their first appearance to the Jourdanton Tournament. Natalia will battle Crystal City on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. to open the tournament. Friday, the Stangs will battle Pearsall at 9:00 a.m. and Sabinal at 1:00 p.m. The boys in blue round out tournament play Saturday at 9:00 a.m. vs. the Brackett Tigers.
Natalia Softball-The Lady Mustangs open the Jourdanton Tournament Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. vs. the Brackenridge Lady Eagles. Natalia returns to action at 12:230 p.m. vs. former Pleasanton Softball stand-out Tori Dumont and the Bryan Rudder Rangers at 12:30 p.m.
Friday, the Lady Mustangs return to battle Devine at 9:30 a.m. followed by district foe Poteet at 12:30 p.m.
Natalia rounds out the tournament with an 8:00 a.m. battle on Saturday vs. Hondo and a 9:30 a.m. game vs. the Randolph Ro-Hawks.
