Maria Trinidad Rios, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2024, at her home in Devine, TX at the age of 76. Maria’s kindness and loving nature touched the lives of all who crossed her path and will forever be remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas Santano and Juanita Montalvo, and her sister, Maria Nicolasa Martinez. Maria is survived by her devoted husband, Gilberto Rios Sr, Her children Gloria Ramos (Alfredo Ramos), Leticia Teague (Eric Teague), Sonia Rios, Gilberto Rios Jr.(Michelle Rios), Jesus Rios (Perla Rios), Juanita Adams (Brandyn Adams), as well as her 16 cherished grandchildren and 12 adored great-grandchildren.
A devout member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine, Maria’s faith was an integral part of her life. A Funeral Service in celebration of Maria’s life will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine on April 12, 2024, at 10:00 am. Prior to the service, a Public Viewing will take place on April 11, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9 PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine.
Maria’s memory and the legacy of love she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
