Oct. 29
3:24 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Jr. High School to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with an activated smoke alarm.
9:50 AM – Traffic stop on CR 6840 at Hwy. 132 S for unsafe speed resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old male driver for having an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Original Charge of Assault. Subject was transported to Medina County Jail.
1:11 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. and removed debris off the roadway.
2:20 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133 and assisted Atascosa Co. Constable with a traffic stop with a report of illegal aliens being transported.
2:25 PM – Officer responded to 19100 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a dog bite. Lytle Animal Control Officer took over investigation.
3:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and talked to officer in reference of a lost/stolen cell phone.
6:55 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. and assisted Atascosa EMS with a patient.
8:57 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a civil matter.
Oct. 30
4:50 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB at Atascosa River to assist Texas DPS with a vehicle vs. guardrail crash.
10:23 AM – Officer responded to Exxon to unlock a vehicle.
2:38 PM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank for a report of a minor accident in the parking lot. Officer talked to both parties and neither party wanted to file a report.
2:45 PM – Officer conducted a follow up investigation on a stolen cell phone.
4:50 PM – Complainant reported a vehicle failing to stop at 14700 Blk. of Main St. when the Lytle ISD bus was discharging children.
7:45 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 Access Rd. for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was stopped and officer determined the driver was not intoxicated.
9:40 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home to assist Atascosa EMS with a suicidal patient. The male was transported to Southwest General Hospital by Atascosa EMS.
10:00 PM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of Rocky’s Circle for a report of a physical disturbance. A 45-year-old male subject was arrested to Assault. Suspect was given a citation and released.
11:15 PM – Complainant contacted officer and reported a riding lawn mower being taken from his residence on CR 6841.
Oct. 31
12:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
12:10 PM – Officer responded to Exxon to unlock a vehicle.
12:16 PM – Officer responded to Lytle-Somerset St. at Lazy J Trail for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to Little Caesars for a report of a two vehicle crash.
6:27 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a disturbance between a mother and a daughter. A family member was contacted and took the juvenile female with him with the mother’s consent.
8:44 PM – Officer initiated a field contact at a suspicious vehicle at Quicksilver Automotive. The owner was picking up his vehicle after some repairs had been made.
Nov. 1
11:35 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at Oak St. for a report of a man walking down the street intently looking into yards and houses. Officer located the subject who stated he had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend and had been asked to get out of the vehicle. Officer provided a courtesy ride to his house in Natalia.
12:25 PM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of FM 2790 E for a report of a truck tractor creating a traffic hazard. The truck was parked in the center turn lane and not creating a traffic hazard.
12:50 PM – Officer responded to Community National Bank to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. and arrested a 15 YO male juvenile wanted out of Medina Co. for having a warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone. The juvenile was transported to Atascosa Co. Juvenile Detention Center without incident.
4:45 PM – Officer released stolen property to rightful owner.
11:48 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at Boxhouse Rd. to assist Texas DPS Highway Patrol with a crash and possible ejection.
Nov. 2
2:46 AM – While on patrol at 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. officer observed a small white truck parked behind a building. Officer made contact with a male asleep inside the truck.
8:15 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Elementary School and provided a police escort for the state bound Cross Country team members from the Elementary School to North limit of Main St.
10:00 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a stolen chainsaw.
1:35 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus P-Lot for a report of a crash, a vehicle vs. trailer being towed by a truck.
7:26 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
11:45 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Live Oak St. or a report of a natural death.
Nov. 3
12:40 AM – While patrolling the HEB C-Store officer observed a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress. During the search incident to arrest, a small baggie of marijuana was found inside her purse. A 31-year-old female subject was arrested for Burglary of Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana. The subject was cited for Theft < $100 and transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
9:35 AM – While on patrol on FM 2790 at Cottage St. officer saw what appeared to be a dead animal wrapped in a towel on the side of the road. Officer notified Animal Control Officer who bagged up the animal remains in a bag.
9:40 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 Railroad Tracks at Main St. for a report of malfunctioning railroad crossing arms. The arms reset and began working properly.
10:45 AM – Officer observed stray dogs running at large on CR 6710. Officer located the owner and took possession of the dogs.
12:26 PM – Complainant talked to officer in reference an ongoing case.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of Main St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
4:40 PM – Complainant talked to officer in reference to a verbal disagreement. Complainant was referred to Medina Co. SO since incident occurred outside city limits.
4:55 PM – Officer responded to 19100 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle broke down and the owner showed up and took custody.
8:05 PM – Complainant turned in property found at Little Caesars.
Nov. 4
9:20 AM – Officer released property to rightful owner.
1:15 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a stray dog. Lytle Animal Control Officer picked up the dog.
5:34 PM – Officer responded to H&S Cream Pop for a hit & run. A customer’s vehicle scraped the building while at the drive-thru and departed without leaving information.
