Natalia Police Report Oct. 28-Nov. 3


Oct. 28
5:06 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Palfrey St. about a structure fire. Officer arrived on scene, waiting for fire to arrive. A male subject walked up on the scene wanting to help with the fire, but was instructed several times to back away from the scene and refused a lawful order. The subject ran towards the fire and was tackled by a member of the Devine VFD. The subject was arrested and transported to the Medina County Jail. He had methamphetamine in his possession and was charged for that offense.
Oct. 30
2:00 PM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with the location of a stolen generator that was being tracked by GPS. Officer made contact with the driver of a maroon Chevrolet 4-door pickup in a private driveway off 5th St. The MCSO arrested the driver for possession of stolen property.
Oct. 31
12:57 AM – Officer responded to La Pasadita about some suspicious subjects on the property. Officer made contact with complainant, who was highly intoxicated. He stated three subjects confronted him about a cell phone being stolen out of a car and that the three subjects thought he took it. The subjects fled the scene and no further action was taken.
2:49 PM – Officer responded to Natalia ISD ECC about a small boy choking two other boys, all under the age of 10. The two small boys went to the nurse’s office to get checked out but both were okay. No charges can be filed due to the age of the child.
Nov. 1
9:09 AM – Officer assisted a canine handler from Global Training Academy. A sweep was conducted on Natalia ISD campus and resulted in negative results for any narcotics.
Nov. 2
7:30 PM – Officer made traffic stop for defective equipment. The driver gave consent to search the vehicle and was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. The car was later towed and transported to the Medina County Jail for processing.
Nov. 3
8:49 PM – Officer assisted with a call in the county in the 600 blk. of CR 6841 about a disturbance in progress. Officer was the first on the scene and had to place handcuffs on a male subject who had assaulted two people. Deputies arrived on scene and took over. The male subject was later taken to an area hospital in San Antonio for clearance.
