Helicopter Egg Drop to scatter 10,000 eggs for youngsters

Children of all ages are invited to enjoy the Fifth Annual Easter Helicopter Egg Drop at 10:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday at First Baptist Church of Castroville.
A helicopter will swing over the hill behind the church on Hwy 90 to drop candy-filled eggs, donated by the congregation. Then children will be released to pick up the 10,000 plastic eggs, filled with candy. They will be divided into groups according to age and should bring their own baskets or bags to collect the eggs.
Children and parents are encouraged to attend one of the Easter services before or after the egg drop. Services are at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. During the first service, there will be an Easter puppet show during Children’s Church in the Student Chapel.
