Hello Relayers! Join us this Friday, April 12 from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight for the Annual Relay For Life Medina County between LaCoste and Castroville at Medina Valley High School Track. The traditional cancer survivor lap will begin after opening ceremonies at 6:00 p.m.
The survivor lap will be followed by caregiver lap and then teams lap. Walkers will all join together and continue to walk throughout the evening, trying to always have one team member on the track at all times. Guests are welcome to walk and join in the FREE event all night and enjoy the music, fellowship and fun in celebration of all those who have survived cancer and in honor of those who have fought the fight.
Teams can still join online and anyone can purchase luminarias for $5.00 before 8:00 pm at the event, which will be displayed the night of.
Due to our organizational changes earlier this year Medina County hosted an official Kick Off Oct. 27th with the Relay event to occur in the Spring of 2019, this Friday, April 12, 2019 from 6:00 pm to Midnight! The Kick Off was in Devine with the theme “Scare Away Cancer”.
On Friday at the Relay For Life, hosted in Castroville at Medina Valley High School, there will be an emcee, music, fundraising on-site and activities to keep it FUN! Teams can still be created and all donations will count towards this week’s 2019 Relay!
