Natalia First Baptist Church Pastor Lenard Dossey informed The Devine News that they will be offering rides from Natalia to the Lytle Post Office on Thursdays for at least the next 30 days.
“We are trying to access the needs of those people who used to walk to the post office in Natalia before it burned down,” said Pastor Dossey. “So we will be giving rides to anyone who needs a ride to the post office in Lytle to get their mail. We will be departing the church parking lot on Thursdays at 9:00 am, then 10:00 am and 11:00 am and see how this works and the demands and or needs. Hopefully we can get up there and get back within the hour and then take the next bunch of people.”
“This is a temporary solution that we are hoping will help those in need, until something more permanent can be established by the community. But, if the need is there we may continue it for some time,” he said.
