Advancing to State UIL: clarinet trio Madilynne Mohr, Clarissa Maldonado, and Skyler Montoya; and flute soloist Josephine Taitano all qualified to State by earning a Class One at Region this weekend.
Please help us to congratulate several of our Warhorse Band Members who participated in the Region 11 UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest this past Saturday at Southwest High School! The following students earned a Division 1 on a Class One Solo or Ensemble event and will now advance to the State UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest held in Austin at the end of May!

+Percussion Ensemble, Class One, Advance to State UIL – Pauline Calame (xylophone), Andrea Sanchez (marimba), Caleb Martin (vibraphone), Jacob Guajardo (marimba), Analea Brooks, & Michael Cubriel (bass guitar).
All of these students have worked for several months to prepare for the region level contest, and will continue refining and practicing until the end of May in order to be ready for the UIL State level contest in Austin!
