Devine Police Report May 27-June 1

May 27
2:34 AM – Complainant at Las Palmas called in reference to a male subject laying by the building. The subject was identified as a drifter out of Moore.
3:55 PM – Complainant on SB IH-35 near mile marker 125 reported a truck tractor swerving all over the roadway. Officer was unable to locate.
4:15 PM – Complainant at Devine Pawn & Gun reported in reference to a male subject pacing back and forth. Subject was waiting for his wife.
6:05 PM – Officer observed a vehicle speeding. Instead of stopping, the vehicle ran a red light and was travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped, and the male subject was jailed for reckless driving. The subject also had an open container of an alcoholic beverage, and was in possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.
May 28
1:12 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Bain Dr. reported burning in back yard. It was just a BBQ.
2:17 PM – An oversized load was stuck on the SB IH-35 access ramp near mile marker 121. Officer provided traffic control until the load was cleared from the ramp.
4:35 PM – Complainant at Star Laundry found an LG phone.
5:55 PM – Officer transported an adult female in the 300 block of Sollock Dr. to University Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
10:46 PM – Officers assisted Medina County deputies with a disturbance in the 200 block of CR 6611. Officers held scene until deputies arrived.
May 29
4:26 AM – Officers assisted MCSO deputies with a disturbance in the 400 block of CR 6612. Two male subjects were taken into custody.
9:57 AM – Officer responded to report of emergency On-Star being set off. False alarm; owner accidentally set it off.
4:20 PM – EMS unit advised of truck tailgating them in NB IH-35 near mile marker 119. Vehicle passed through Devine before officer could make location.
11:10 PM – Complainant reported a vehicle all over the roadway on SB IH-35 near mile marker 124, as well as running cars off the road. Unable to locate.
May 30
4:50 PM – Officer assisted DPS troopers with a male subject who wrecked a vehicle on FM 463.
May 31
5:33 AM – Complainant reported a male subject walking in the road in the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. Unable to locate.
9:35 PM – Complainant reported a gravel truck cutting off other drivers on NB IH-35 near mile marker 122. Unable to locate.
June 1
2:31 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
6:38 PM – A water tank fell off a trailer in the 500 block of Zig Zag Ave. Officer stood by while the driver waited for individuals to come to put it back on.
7:17 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of W. Coker Ave. reported an older model blue Camaro driving recklessly. Unable to locate.
7:50 PM – Complainant in Lytle advised her credit card number was used at Walmart. The transaction was declined, but was approved at HEB in Lytle.
9:00 PM – Complainant on SB IH-35 near mile marker 125 reported a white Dodge pickup truck with a headache rack and light bar was driving aggressively. Unable to locate.
9:55 PM – Complainant on NB IH-35 near mile marker 124 reported a car with its hazard lights on. Vehicle left prior to arrival; all was okay.
