Devine Police Report June 9-13


June 9
2:20 AM – Officers executed a Bexar County warrant for felony theft on a male subject. The subject was jailed.
2:30 PM – Officer removed a tire from SB IH-35.
3:30 PM – A vehicle was partially in the roadway in the 300 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. and was towed.
11:39 PM – Officer assisted a Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy who had stopped a DWI driver with multiple guns on FM 471 S. Officer provided cover and support.
June 10
2:45 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hickory Hwy. advised that a weed eater was taken from the bed of his flat bed truck. Valued at $500.
June 11
4:21 AM – Officer dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject in a black PT Cruiser who had been in the parking lot for several hours. The subject was using the Wi-Fi.
7:18 AM – A vehicle being towed by another vehicle got disconnected from the tow chain. Officer stood by until the vehicle got connected again.
7:45 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. College Ave. reported that someone shot paint on the building using a paint ball gun.
1:43 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of E. Colonial Pkwy. believed someone was in the ceiling and requested that officers secure the building.
3:51 PM – Verbal disturbance between a female subject and her boyfriend in the 200 block of W. Benton Ave.
June 12
1:35 AM – Driver in a red truck advised that three subjects jumped into the bed of the truck around mile marker 112. Officers located the truck at mile marker 121 entrance ramp to IH-35. No persons were located. All was okay.
10:46 AM – A 13-year-old male subject hit his mother. All was okay.
12:30 PM – Complainant reported a railroad arm was up and the other was stuck down. Advised they have employees making location.
5:03 PM – Report of a possible intoxicated driver. Vehicle was parked at a gas station. The driver was found to not be intoxicated. All was okay.
9:15 PM – Report of a possible burn ban violation in the city. Unable to locate.
10:10 PM – Complainant reported debris on roadway. Officer removed debris.
June 13
2:06 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. Benton Ave. reported that a dark-colored Mustang kept pulling into the parking lot. Unable to locate.
2:11 AM – Officers noticed the passenger door of a vehicle open in the 100 block of N. Bright Dr. Officers made contact with the owner, who advised his son must have left it open. Nothing appeared to be missing.
1:24 PM – Complainant was assaulted by her boyfriend in the early morning. Officer referred complainant to the County.
2:20 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Upson reported that three male subjects were fighting in the area but had separated at this time. Unable to locate.
