April 13
4:20 PM – Female subject on the side of the road on CR 5710. The patient was identified as living at a local boarding home. Complainant stopped to assist and the patient grabbed the complainant’s vehicle and refused to let go. Officers stood by until a Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived.
7:14 PM – Dispatched for a two-car accident. A male subject attempted to run on foot. Officer chased and caught the subject, who was jailed.
April 14
4:00 AM – Complainant reported a silver Volvo speeding and running a vehicle off the road on SB IH-35. Unable to locate.
6:40 AM – Complainant on Rosewood reported a bicycle found on property. Officer took possession.
9:25 AM – Officer originally sent in for an accident in the city, which turned out to be in the county. Officer stayed on scene until DPS arrived.
5:29 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Ingram Rd. in reference to an elderly male with a cane asking for a ride. Officer patrolled the area; unable to locate.
8:45 PM – Officer assisted DPS in reference to a major accident on CR 7711. Officer assisted with traffic control.
10:50 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of N. Teel Dr. reported a male subject in a black pickup getting in and out of the vehicle and acting strange. Complainant wanted the subject checked out. AMR assisted.
11:23 PM – A male subject in the 700 block of N. Teel Dr. was arrested on a Medina County warrant for aggravated assault date/family/house with deadly weapon and jailed.
11:23 PM – Officer confiscated an expired registration sticker not registered to the correct vehicle.
April 16
4:20 PM – Someone brought in a ring found at the airport.
April 17
12:57 AM – A male subject in the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. was acting strange. A local boarding house picked up the subject.
7:40 AM – Complainant reported a license plate was taken off the back of her truck. The plate was entered into TCIC/NCIC.
6:20 PM – Complainant stated a dark green car was stuck in sand.
10:59 PM – A male subject wearing all black was walking westbound in the 500 block of Zig Zag Ave. Officer made contact with the subject by the post office. All was okay, subject was just walking home.
11:42 PM – Report of a male subject on IH-35 wearing a Harley Davidson biker jacket who was possibly suicidal and wanting to get struck by a car. Unable to locate.
April 18
2:38 AM – A male subject was on location in the 100 block of CR 773. Officer made contact with the subject, who advised he was hit by a vehicle while trying to hitchhike. Subject transported by AMR with a possible broken arm.
1:15 PM – Complainant reported two unknown male subjects stole four tires on April 14.
4:35 PM – Complainant found an iPhone at a business in the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. The phone was returned to owner by sister.
10:00 PM – Complainant in the 1300 block of Libold Dr. reported a female knocked on her door and appeared intoxicated. The subject departed walking northbound on Libold. Unable to locate.
April 19
8:09 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Monticello Cir. advised she left her purse inside her unlocked car and someone took it.
9:15 AM – Complainant in the 600 block CR 6612 advised she saw two white females with backpacks walking towards the back of her neighbor’s property. Forwarded info to MCSO dispatch.
12:31 PM – Call started from IH-35 SB at mile marker 130, and MCSO advised a white male driver possibly intoxicated driving a white Chevy Tahoe unable to maintain lanes. Partial license plate was obtained. Last known location heading towards W. Benton and N. Teel. Unable to locate.
2:08 PM – Officers took possession of a marijuana plant in the 400 block of Webb Ave.
8:03 PM – Officer dispatched to the 1100 block of Warhorse in reference to a gray F-150 driving around the area for the past 30 minutes. Officer patrolled the area; unable to locate.
11:38 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1300 block of Hwy. 173 in reference to a male in a black hoodie walking around the area. Officers patrolled the area; unable to locate.
