County Clerk’s office temporarily closed to public

The Medina County Clerk’s office is temporarily closed to the public beginning Tuesday, August 11.
County Clerk Gina Champion said in a message on the county website that the closure is a precautionary measure to reduce potential exposure to local community members and staff.
“We will be able to help you via appointments, over the phone, and online,” Champion said. “Please call our office with your questions and we will do our absolute best to help you get the documents you need.”
The phone number to the County Clerk’s office is 830-741-6040.
The courthouse at large remains open to the public, though it is only accessible through the entrance on Avenue M. Anyone attempting to enter the courthouse will have their temperature checked and be asked if they have experienced COVID-19 symptoms including fever or chills, cough, fatigue, body aches, sore throat, headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or nasal congestion.
Masks are required for anyone not a Medina County employee, and six-foot social distancing must be maintained.
