The Devine High School Cheerleaders are hosting their annual mini-cheer and dance camp again this year starting July 10-13. They will meet in the old High School gymnasium.
The sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until noon for the cheer clinic and continue after lunch at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. with the dance clinic. It is open to children from those entering kindergarten through eighth grade. The kindergarteners will be instructed from 9 until noon while the 1st through 8th graders will continue until 3 p.m.
Each day includes a theme. Monday is Disney Day, Tuesday is Hawaiian Day and picture day, Wednesday is Tacky Day and Thursday is Spirit day and the pep rally.
The cost is $45 for kindergarteners and $65 for 1st through 8th graders.
Babysitting and lunch will be provided for an additional $5 per day. Photos will be taken of everyone on Tuesday and be available for purchase on Thursday at the pep rally which begins at 11 a.m.
Registration for the camp begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 10th. The community service project is the food pantry so bring non-perishable foods to donate if possible.
Tennis shoes must be worn each day.
