JV Lady Mustangs take on Lytle

JV1 Lady Mustangs
The JV1 Lady Mustangs have finished their season 3-3 in district and 7-6 overall. They faced Lytle in their last game of the season and the Lady Mustangs lost 22-25 and 23-25. They played with heart and determination and kept the game tight against the tough opponent.
“I am happy with our JV teams. They improved tremendously over the course of the season, both as individual players and playing as a team. At the beginning of the season we had some players who struggled with overhand serves and we ended with every player being able to execute a serve in a game. Passing was also a focal point and I am pleased with how consistent we were as we closed our season. Our record does not reflect the real wins – growth, perseverance, and our team-first attitude. Our future is bright!” Coach Tara Cortinas
