The JV Lady Mustang softball team competed in the Medina Valley JV Tournament this past weekend and earned a 2nd place finish.
“These girls have been working hard and improving daily,” Coach Tiffany Balencia said. “It’s great to see all of the skills and strategies we work on in practice be implemented in our games successfully.”
Natalia opened the tournament with a 7-9 loss to SA Churchill before bouncing back with an 8-6 win over Floresville.
The JV Lady Mustangs then fell 8-6 to Austin Akins before finishing things off with a resounding 14-2 victory over Medina Valley.
“I’m excited to see what the rest of this season has in store for this team!” Coach Balencia said.
