Bulky item cleanup in Natalia April 15

Republic Services, the garbage services for the city of Natalia, will be conducting their spring curbside Bulky Item Clean-up on Monday, April 15, 2019.
Bulky item rules include that items can be set out on the curb no earlier than Thursday, April 4th and no later than Sunday, April 14th. Once the trucks have passed through a neighborhood, they will NOT return for late placements. Any pick-ups that are missed due to late placement or inclusion of prohibited materials become the property owner’s sole responsibility. Failure to remove them properly may result in a nuisance violation.
All items for pick-up must be placed next to the curb of the paying customer’s property. If you are not currently paying for garbage service, your items will not be collected. Any items placed in alleyways, vacant lots, near fire hydrants, water meters or inside fences will not be collected. The load cannot exceed a virtual cube five foot by five foot by five foot in size.
Permissible items include old furniture, bulky waste, small home remodeling debris, large stumps or branches OVER four inches in diameter or old appliances that are drained and tagged by a licensed technician.
Items that are prohibited include all chemicals, hazardous materials, small brush and limbs, tires, televisions, computers and related items, or contractor construction materials which the owner must dispose of properly. Piles of debris that include these items will NOT be picked up.
If you have spring pruning limbs and branches under four inches in diameter, please call the city office at 830-663-2926 at least one week prior to the second Thursday each month to be placed on the small brush pickup list. Only those on that list will have their small limbs and branches picked up.
