Last Tuesday, September 13, Devine’s varsity Arabian volleyball team traveled to Carrizo to face the Wildcats for their second district game of the season. The girls won in three sets; 25-16, 25-21, and 25-15. This officially makes them 2-0 for the season.
As a team the girls had a total of thirty-one kills, eleven aces, three blocks, forty-three digs, and twenty-nine assists. Leading in kills was #3 Rylee Esquibel with thirteen as well as three aces. Kate Featherly had a total of nineteen assists as well as three aces. Skylar Blanton took control of the net with a total of four blocks. Avery Cruz led in the number of digs with a total of thirteen.
