Arabians shut out Dilley

The Varsity Arabians shut out Dilley 15-0 in their second district game of the season. The Arabians had an impressive game with a fielding average of 93%. Taylor Carr gets the win allowing only two Dilley baserunners. Carr recorded two Dilley strikeouts, one hit batter and one runner reached 1st on an error as she proceeded towards a no hitter. Offensively for the Arabians Megan Runyun had a batting average of .667 with a double and a single,Allyson Taylor had a batting average of .667 with a double and a single,Janette Rios had a batting average of .500 with two singles, Kendall Arche had a batting average of .500 with a single and a double,Mackenzie Schneider had a batting average of .500 with one single, and Julie Ortiz had an on base percentage of .667 with two walks and a RBI fly ball. As a team in a 4-inning game, the Arabians had 9 hits, 2 HBP, 12 walks and stranded 8 runners.
The Arabians continue district play with Lytle on March 3rd and Carrizo Springs on March 6th.
