Many of our Warhorse Band students were very successful this past Saturday at the Region 11 ATSSB All-Region Band Auditions held at Lytle High School! Over 450 students from across the Region were present – and the competition level was high!
Earning chairs in the All-Region Band were:
Josephine Taitano, 2nd Chair Flute Symphonic Band & All-Area Band!
Amy Robinson, 2nd Chair Bassoon Symphonic Band & All-Area Band!!
** Both Josephine & Amy will now audition for the All-State Band on January 13th!!
Christian Osorio, 5th Chair French Horn Symphonic Band (**Note: Only missed making the Area Band by ONE chair!)
Madilynne Mohr, 6th Chair Clarinet Concert Band
Tanner Hardcastle, 5th Chair Tuba Concert Band
Austin Peterson, 7th Chair Percussion Concert Band
These students will be involved in rehearsals all day Friday and early Saturday preparing for the All-Region Band Concert on Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 pm at the Pleasanton Performing Arts Auditorium!! Please help to congratulate these students for a great achievement and representing Devine High School with pride!
