Natalia Police Report July 15-20


July 15
6:10 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Bartlett St. about a dog left tied up to a vehicle with no food or water. Officer went and gave the dog food and water. Officer referred the case to the animal control officer.
8:26 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of E. Hondo Ave. in Devine to assist with a major crash roll over. Officer assisted with traffic control while Devine PD worked the crash. Officer later cleared the scene and went back in service.
July 16
9:18 AM – Officer responded to Dollar General about an employee that was terminated for theft. The manager was concerned about retaliation and wanted to report the incident to the police in case the ex-employee was to retaliate.
11:27 AM – Officer responded to the 2100 blk. of CR 471 about a possible break-in. Officer photographed the property and forwarded all information over to a Medina County Sheriff Deputy for follow up.
July 19
9:30 AM – Officer responded to the 100 blk. of 3rd St. about a child locked inside a vehicle. The child was removed from the vehicle minutes later. The child was fine and needed no medical attention.
6:19 PM – Officer received a phone call from two sisters concerned about their sister that they haven’t heard from since May 2018. The two sisters made several attempts to try and locate their sister, but to no avail. Officer collected all the information and put out an all-points attempt to locate the missing sister.
8:44 PM – Officer responded to the 22000 blk. of FM 463 about a theft. Officer made the location and was advised by the property owner he believes the DirecTV repair man ran off with his safe from inside his house. Officer waited for a deputy to arrive and pass over the information. Officer later cleared the scene and went back in service.
July 20
8:19 AM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop soliciting for money. Officer contacted the female and all she was wanting was a ride to her residence in the 1000 blk. of CR 7711 in Devine. Officer gave a courtesy ride to the female and went back in service.
2:48 PM – Officer responded to the intersection of FM 463 and CR 6725 for a crash. Officer arrived on scene, assisted with traffic control, and later went back in service once the roadway was cleared.
