Natalia Police Report Dec. 21-Jan. 6


Dec. 21

Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop about a white male pulling on the door handles of the truck tractors, but the officer was unable to locate the male subject.
Dec. 23
10:30 PM – Officer responded to the 100 blk. of 9th St. about a noise complainant. Officer arrived on scene and went to make contact with someone in an apartment. Officer made contact with a 14-year-old boy and advised him the television was in fact very loud and had him turn it down. The boy complied and the officer went over to make contact with the complainant, but got no response.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to the 100 blk. of CR 6712 about a disturbance. Officer arrived on location along with Medina County deputies on location as well. Officer stood by while the deputies later issued criminal trespass notices to both parties.
Dec. 24
10:26 AM – Officer responded to the 200 blk. of 8th St. about a civil matter. Officer was advised that a family member was very violent and has assaulted many of the family members. The complainant and officer went over to the house, but to find no one home. Officer later cleared the call without incident.
1:48 PM – Officer responded to the La Pasadita Restaurant about a theft. Officer spoke to the complainant and was advised a slim Hispanic male had stolen some food items and walked out of the store without paying for them. The young man’s grandfather ended up paying for the items and no charges were filed.
4:04 PM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of Aubrey St. about a civil matter. Officer made contact with the complainant. Officer was advised that the next door neighbor had taken down her fence and put up his poles as if he was going to build a fence on her part of the property. The man later agreed to put back her fence he knocked down and get a survey done to see where the property line is marked.
Dec. 28
1:40 PM – Officer responded to assist Medina County Sheriff’s deputies with a suicidal subject off CR 7710. Deputies arrived on scene and took the male subject into custody for further medical evaluations. Officer cleared the scene without incident.
7:00 PM – Officer responded to the El Tropiko restaurant to make contact with the complainant about a male subject harassing her on the phone with text messages and calling her work. Officer gathered the information and later went to make contact with the male subject at his residence. Officer took the male subject into protective custody because he verbally stated to the officer he wanted to commit suicide. Officer filed an emergency detention on this subject and transported to Southwest General Hospital for further medical and mental evaluations.
Jan. 1
4:50 PM – Officer responded to 200 Colt Trail about shots fired. Officer spoke to the complainant and he stated he could hear the bullets hitting the trees close to his house. The shots were coming from the area of CR 6723. A deputy was dispatched to the area to find the source, but was unsuccessful.
8:10 PM – Officer responded to the 200 blk. of Aubrey St. about an elderly female who had fallen down and possibly got a broken arm. Officer arrived on scene for EMS to arrive. EMS arrived and later transported her to the ER in Hondo.
10:49 PM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of Aubrey St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer made contact with the complainant and he advised the other party had vacated the area without any confrontation.
Jan. 4
1:26 PM – Officer responded to a white male subject had stolen some items from La Pasadita. Officer found the man walking and did in fact find the cookies taken from the store. Mgt. didn’t want to file charges, but after a check of the man’s backpack, drug paraphernalia was discovered and a citation was issued.
2:26 PM – Officer responded to La Pasadita about a male subject stealing some items from inside the store. The manager didn’t want to file charges on him. The male subject admitted to stealing some property from Love’s earlier in the day. Officer collected all the items and took them back to the store and all items did come from the store. The male subject was later taken to the Medina County Jail.
Jan. 6
6:00 PM – Officer responded to the 600 blk. of Flores St. about an unwanted person causing problems. Officer arrived on location and the unwanted subject had already left the area. There was nothing else to report.
7:49 PM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of 45h St. about a male subject tearing up items. Officer got on location and was told the suspect in question had punched a hole in her door, breaking the glass and part of the door. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Medina County Jail.
