02-18-2024 Burn Ban Violation – On duty officer responded to a call for a resident in violation of the city’s burn ban. The fire was extinguished and the resident was informed of the current regulations regarding burning in the city.
02-18-2024 Unwanted Person – On duty officer responded to the Chubby’s Truck Stop in response to an individual who was not wanted on the property due to drinking fountain drinks and refusing to pay, the individual was told to leave the property.


02-18-2024 Information – On duty officer responded to the Dollar General for a report of attempted theft, the items were recovered and the individual had departed the location, the identity of the individual was given to the officer.
02-19-2024 Suspicious circumstances – On duty officer responded to the Chubby’s Truck Stop for a report of a couple in the backseat of a vehicle possibly engaging in questionable activity. The officer made contact with the young couple, no questionable activity was observed, the young couple was told to leave the property.
02-23-2024 Disturbance – On duty officer responded to the Love’s Travel Stop for a physical disturbance between two males. The officer made contact with the individual who started the fight in the Subway sandwich shop. The individual became verbally abusive with staff as well as law enforcement before being ordered to leave the property.
02-23-2024 Criminal mischief – On duty officer responded to a call of damage done to the glass on the screen door when the victim’s grandson broke the glass, possibly using a soccer ball as the instrument used to break the glass.
02-24-2024 Business alarm – On duty officer along with MCSO Deputy responded to a call for a business alarm in a conference room, the property was checked and found to be secure at the time.
02-25-2024 Assist citizen – On duty officer along with a member of the Natalia VFD assisted a citizen who had been locked out of their vehicle.
02-25-2024 Welfare concern – On duty officer responded to the Love’s Travel Stop after the owner of a truck service had not been able to contact their driver by phone or text. The driver was located and found to be safe and in good health and was advised to get in touch with her boss and or dispatcher to let them know she was okay.
02-25-2024 Dog bite – On duty officer responded to a call for a dog bite, the dog in question was located and seized by the officer and taken to the city kennel pending further action.
