Oct. 9
2:10 AM – Officer responded to 18900 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of a civil matter.
6:40 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to an incident that occurred the day before.
2:15 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Cottage St. to take a report of Criminal Trespass. It was learned that subject had a criminal trespass warning for that property.
3:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a natural death.
3:45 PM – Officer responded to 15600 Blk. of Oak St. for a report of a theft of prescription drugs from complainant’s workbag that occurred on 10/5/17.
6:18 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) used an unknown tool to pry the front door open. Unknown suspect(s) punched holes in the wall of the kitchen area.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of N. Bank St. for a report of an alarm.
11:19 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Juarez St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
Oct.10
12:05 AM – Officer responded to 14300 Blk. of FM 2790 for a report of an alarm. Officer found an unsecured door. Officer conducted a search of the residence locating property owner who stated everything was ok.
1:10 AM – While on patrol on the 19400 Blk. of Prairie St. officers observed the interior light of a vehicle on. Officers contacted the owner and checked the vehicle for signs of criminal activity. The door was unsecured but all was ok. The owner believes someone may have been inside the vehicle.
1:30 AM – Officers responded to 15000 Blk. of Rodeo St. for a report of a civil matter.
1:40 AM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a civil matter.
5:45 AM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Houston St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
5:48 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a possible shoplifter. Upon arrival, complainant stated two white males attempted to leave the store with items but were not successful. Officers were unable to locate.
10:12 PM – Officers responded to 19200 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a suspicious person. Officers made contact with a 25-year-old male subject that resulted in being arrested for Public Intoxication. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:00 PM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Martin St. for a report of a dog attack on a raccoon. Officer was advised to make location to see if the animal needed to be put down. Officer arrived and found the raccoon dead.
Oct. 11
2:36 AM – Officers responded to Gate St. to assist Atascosa EMS with an elderly patient.
7:51 AM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Main St. to unlock a vehicle.
8:55 AM – Traffic stop at 15300 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old subject for Driving with a Suspended License, No Insurance and having several unpaid court fines & municipal warrants. The vehicle was impounded and subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
2:14 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report several unauthorized transactions made out of California. An unknown person made six different transactions totaling $129.58.
10:34 PM – Officers responded to Bill Millers BBQ for an alarm.
Oct. 12
7:34 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 for a report of an 18 wheeler parked on the roadway. Officer checked the area and found the 18 wheeler parked on the shoulder out of the lane of traffic.
11:40 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Public Library to assist a motorist with a disabled vehicle. Officer provided a courtesy ride home.
12:00 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N at Mile Marker 132 to assist a motorist with a disabled vehicle. Officer provided a courtesy ride to Whataburger.
12:14 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S to assist Bexar Co. off duty DPS Trooper following a reckless driver. Assisted Bexar Co. when they stopped the vehicle. Suspect was released with a warning.
2:35 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 N at North on ramp to assist a motorist with a disabled vehicle. Officer stood by with motorist until tow truck arrived.
4:40 PM – Officer was flagged down by a motorist on the 19000 Blk. of McDonald St. who wanted to take a photo of the vehicle LPD graphics.
4:50 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Railroad St. for a possible homeless or suspicious individual. Officer was unable to locate.
5:30 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at Naegelin Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a suspicious vehicle call. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to an assault.
Oct. 13
3:45 AM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at Luckey Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a traffic stop.
7:25 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report an assault. Case under investigation.
8:45 AM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia Ave. for a report of a disturbance that resulted in the Emergency Detention of a 32 YO female. She was driven to University Hospital and released to their staff.
5:34 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of speeders in the area.
7:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
Oct. 14
2:42 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a male subject who was in the drive-thru lane displaying a pistol. Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Officer made contact with the driver and after further investigation it was determined the driver would be released from the scene but a Criminal Case of Disorderly Conduct / Displaying a Firearm in a Public Place will be filed with the court.
8:53 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a physical disturbance between a male and a female. Officer arrived and found yard crew at a foreclosed residence cutting the grass. Two of the crew members got into a shoving match, no parties wanted to file any criminal charges.
11:24 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 North at City Limits for a report of a slow driver impeding traffic. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
4:39 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a talk to an officer in reference to the rear door of complainant’s residence being ajar. Old pry damaged was noted. Complainant requested extra patrol.
7:20 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
10:13 PM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a two vehicle crash.
11:34 PM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm.
Oct. 15
3:55 AM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Creek St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.
6:44 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm.
9:38 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger to unlock a vehicle.
3:32 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a suspicious person. All was fine. Subject was on the phone and about to rent a room.
4:47 PM – Officer responded to Main St. for a report of a reckless driver headed into Lytle. Officer located the vehicle as it pulled into Chevron, identified the driver and counseled him.
5:29 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
8:20 PM – Officer found a cell phone at the intersection of Main St. and McDonald St. Officer returned the property to rightful owner.
11:22 PM – Officer responded to Bruce St. for a report of a verbal disturbance. Upon Officers arrival, one party had already departed from the residence. No report of any physical altercation occurring and no charges were wished to be filed.
