Lytle Police Report August 21-27

August 21
4:49 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and spoke to an officer in reference to hearing voices coming from inside of her home when she enters but there’s no one there.
8:36 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
9:01 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Harbour St. to assist the public with problems with the front door of her residence. Officer recommended she call her landlord.
12:26 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to assist Atascosa EMS.
3:05 PM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant’s ex-boyfriend emailing her place of work and complaining about her services. Officer advised that if complainant returned to property to notify the police and a criminal trespass warning could be issued.
3:05 PM – Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of White Cap Dr. for a welfare check on a homeowner. All was ok.
3:20 PM – Officers responded to 18700 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a large tree in the roadway. Public Works responded and was able to clear the roadway.
3:55 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
6:02 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Main St. for a report of an alarm. Officer found the house to be secure.
11:10 PM – Officers responded to US Renal Care for a report of an alarm. Officers arrived and made contact with the janitor who was cleaning and forgot the pass code for the facility.
11:23 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a pursuit of a motor vehicle from the Medina Co. Line to Bexar Co. Line.
August 22
1:05 AM – Officer responded to 6600 Blk. of Diaz St. for a talk to an officer in reference of hearing noise in complainant’s backyard. Complainant is requesting extra patrols.
1:15 AM – Officers responded to Camino Real Crisis Center for a report of a female that had been dropped off for admission but did not meet the requirements. Complainant wanted the female removed from the property. Subject left the property prior to officers’ arrival.
11:47 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to file a stolen identity report by receiving an email from what appeared to be the Apple App Store. Complainant entered her information as requested because the email was referencing a purchase that she did not make. She later checked the website she was on earlier and it no longer existed.
4:20 PM – Officer responded to 3200 Blk. of IH 35 NB at Unico Cattle Co. to help locate the residence for an injured 88 YO male. The male was transported by AMR.
4:48 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to file a report of identity theft. Complainant stated her social security number was used to open a Home Depot Credit Card account in California. Complainant advised that the card is under her social security number but not her name.
August 23
10:09 AM – Officer responded to FM 463 at FM 2790 N for a report of debris in the roadway creating a traffic hazard. The item was removed.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to South Texas Mobile RV & Truck Repair for an alarm which turned out not to be in the city. The call was passed onto the Bexar Co. Sheriff’s Office.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to 500 Blk. of Oak St. to talk to an officer in reference to complainant losing her keys to her house and garage.
August 24
1:40 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Atascosa/Bexar Co. Line for a report of a hit and run. Officer arrived and found no vehicle on the side of the road or median. Unable to locate.
4:30 AM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of FM 463 to assist Medina Co. DPS with a truck that struck a cow.
7:30 AM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Norvell St. for a report of suspicious activity. Officer arrived and searched the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.
1:10 PM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank to talk to an officer in reference to a phone scam. Complainant was asked by the alleged scammer to meet him at the Lytle State Bank.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a talk to an officer in reference to a former employee causing a disturbance. Subject departed prior to officer’s arrival.
3:27 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Laundry Mat to talk to an officer in reference to a dryer taking her quarters. Officer was advised to cancel by the complainant upon arrival. Complainant refused to give her name and information.
August 25
4:30 AM – Officer responded to John’s Small Engine for an alarm. Officer arrived and found the building to be secure.
9:45 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Lake View Dr. for a report of an abandoned front-end loader. Officer was unable to locate.
10:45 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of Somerset St. for a talk to an officer in reference to extra patrol.
11:10 AM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank and provided money escort for HEB Plus to the HEB C-Store.
12:43 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Luckey Rd. to assist Bexar Co. with a vehicle accident.
12:45 PM – Civilian Auxiliary responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
2:00 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Crest St. for a report of an alarm.
3:35 PM – Officer responded to Dr. Dental for a report of an alarm. Business was found to be secure.
5:15 PM – Officer observed a bob-tail truck dispensing fuel into the underground tank at 5 Points Market and the driver was not using any type of vapor recovery system. Officer issued a citation to a 58-year-old subject for Violation of Fire Code – Vapor Recovery.
6:16 PM – Officer responded to Furniture Store for an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
8:48 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a tire being slashed.
August 26
11:32 PM – Officers responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a physical disturbance that resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old female subject. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail and cited for Public Intoxication. Subject escaped while handcuffed but was recaptured.
11:50 PM – Officer responded to Railroad St. at Adams St. for a report of a train that had come apart. Officer arrived and observed the train to be detached at the center of the train. Conductor repaired the damaged knuckle.
August 27
3:22 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
5:45 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 130 to assist Medina Co. DPS with a one vehicle crash/roll over.
2:05 PM – Officer responded to 20000 Blk. of Hyde Park for a report of an alarm. Officer found the house to be secure.
6:44 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB for a report of juveniles running across the highway. Officer was unable to locate anyone.
