8:30 AM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a female regarding suspicious activity in another jurisdiction.
9:10 AM – 15900 Blk. Lake Shore Dr. – Officer spoke to a male regarding a white puppy located on his property. Animal Control was contacted.
11:30 AM – Lytle PD – Officers spoke to a male regarding suspicious activity in another jurisdiction.
12:37 PM – 19400 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
1:13 PM – FM 3175 @ IH 35 – Officer responded to a bale of hay in the roadway. Lytle Public Works moved the hay out of the roadway.
2:25 PM – Lake Breeze @ Lake Shore Dr. – Officer responded to a suspicious vehicle but was canceled while en route.
10:00 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a juvenile female at the PD regarding a concern with her boyfriend.
Tuesday, April 23
7:15 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer spoke to the renter of a storage unit regarding a burglary of her storage unit that had previously occurred.
9:40 AM – Lytle PD – Officers spoke to a male regarding a stolen lawn mower in Natalia.
11:51 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a report of a male breaking into a vehicle and stealing $8,000 in cash that had been withdrawn from Bank of America.
12:36 PM – 19900 Blk, FM 2790 – Officer responded to a 911 call. No one at the facility reported calling 911.
2:36 PM – 14700 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to discover everything was okay.
5:33 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a parent regarding child custody.
6:27 PM – Lytle PD – Officer received a report of a 2017 Ford Escape that was repossessed on Office St.
6:29 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for an expired motor vehicle registration that resulted in the arrest of a 26 year old male for an active warrant out of Medina County for Failure to Appear on an original marijuana possession. Subject was booked into the Medina County Jail.
9:20 PM – Assist Atascosa County EMS – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to assist a patient with a medical emergency.
10:00 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded and was unable to locate the vehicle.
11:15 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – IH 35 @ Saddle Ridge Blvd. – Officers responded to assist with a bailout of 5 to 6 suspected undocumented immigrants but could not find them. LPD patrolled the area throughout the night.

1:00 PM – 14800 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer spoke to a female regarding a criminal trespass warning that was issued.

7:30 PM – 15000 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to a report of kids smoking marijuana in the park but could not locate them.

12:01 PM – 15200 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a rolling disturbance between a male and a female that originated in Medina County outside the city limits of Lytle.
12:46 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a parent regarding child custody (Civil Matter).
2:00 PM – Lytle PD – Officer initiated a follow-up for a case that originated in November 2023.

3:00 PM – 14400 Blk. Main St. – Officers conducted a fire inspection for a certificate of occupancy.
3:11 PM – Assist Somerset PD – FM 2790 @ Luckey Rd. – Officers responded to assist outside the city limits of Lytle with a stolen vehicle.
4:00 PM – Blume Dr. @ Fm 2790 – Officers responded to a report of a shovel run over by a vehicle, resulting in a flat tire.
5:18 PM – Houston St. @ Ruiz-Foster Way – Officer responded to a vehicle parked partially in the roadway.
6:45 PM – 18300 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officer spoke to a female on the phone regarding an incident that occurred earlier in the day.
8:19 PM—15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for a defective tail lamp, which resulted in the arrest of a 36 year old male for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
8:50 PM – 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officer responded to a male sitting on the ground near the roadway but could not find him.
Friday, April 26
12:25 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers spoke to a male regarding a lost wallet.
7:46 AM – 19100 Blk. N. Prairie St. – Officer responded to read a book to a first-grade class.
10:42 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – FM 2790 @ Luckey Rd. – Officers responded to assist with a traffic accident outside the city limits of Lytle.
1:36 PM – Assist Lytle VFD – 15000 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer responded to assist with a patient having a medical emergency.
Saturday, April 27
7:00 AM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to escort the academic class out of town.
8:40 AM – Assist Lytle Public Works – 18900 Blk. Pine St. – Officer contacted Lytle Public Works regarding a water leak under her porch.
11:20 AM – 15100 Blk. Magnolia St. – Officer checked on a pregnant female who stated she was okay.
8:50 PM – 19800 Blk. Doc Holiday – Officers responded to the Best Western to meet with a female who had been threatened at the above address. She fled her residence and said that the male followed her and fired at least 4 shots at her vehicle (which was hit) on IH-35 between Lucky and Sheppard Rd. (outside of our city limits) Bexar Co. S.O. was notified and sent an officer and detectives to take the report. Due to their being children in the residence (the male had returned home) and the nature of the threats, we opted to ask for assistance from a tactical team. The Sheriff’s tactical team from Atascosa Co. responded as well as S.A.P.D.’s SWAT Team and Hostage Negotiations Team. The scene was secured, and the negotiators went to work; after several hours, the 41-year-old male suspect came out of the residence and surrendered to police. The children were unharmed and released to family members.
Sunday, April 28
3:08 AM – 19800 Blk. Doc Holiday Dr – Officer made an information report regarding a rut in the grass caused by a vehicle during the above standoff.
3:15 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer made an information report regarding the ATM canopy being damaged by an SAPD vehicle during the above standoff.
7:50 AM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officer responded to a report of high water. Public Works was notified, and high-water signs were put out.
11:00 AM – Martin St. @ Oak St. – Officers observed the temporary stop sign knocked down. The stop sign was replaced on the corner of the intersection.
3:10 PM – Assist Lytle VFD – 15600 Blk. FM 463 – Officer assisted with an active fire alarm. It was a false alarm.
4:18 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a male shoplifter who walked out with an electric shaver valued at $50.00.
