FEAST
The Natalia Lady Mustangs played FEAST on Tuesday, August 29 in a great matching at home in Natalia..
Offensively the Lady Mustangs had 22 kills: Tori Wootan 7, Gace Gorman 3, Biviana Figueroa 3, Bryanna Perez 1, Felicia Guzman 3, and Shaunna Master 5. Also, Gorman provided the only serving ace.
Defensively they had 37 digs for this game: Wootan 10, Gorman 2, Figureoa 5, Perez 15, Guzman 3 and Masters 2. There were two blocks provided by Gorman and Masters.
“These girls played together as the team that we have been waiting for. It was a great game to come out and watch,” said Coach Samantha Crowley.
Lytle
The Lady Mustangs narrowly lost to the Lytle Pirates on Friday, September 1. The battle lasted for four very close games. The first two the Pirates won, 25-21 and 25-23. Natalia came back to win the third game 25-23, however Lytle won the fourth game 27-25.
Offensively they had a total of 13 kills provided by Wootan 3, Gorman 1, Figueroa 4, Guzman 1, and Masters 4.
Defensively there were 21 digs: Wootan 5, Gorman 2, Figueroa 5, Perez 4, Guzman 3 and Masters 2. There were three blocks: Gorman, Figueroa and Masters each had one.
