Driscoll Public Library and the City of Devine will be offering GED classes this year. Classes started Monday, January 22. All classes will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the Community Center next door to the library.
The classes are open enrollment and do not require pre-registration. The classes and all materials will be provided free to the students by Southwest Texas Junior College and the only cost will be for taking the final test.
The City of Devine feels this is a much needed service and is excited to be able to offer it to Devine and surrounding communities.
