HOMECOMING for Devine ALUMNI will be held at the old “Green Alamo” (now VFW) for the first time in many, many years! It all started there in 1951, so it was time to revisit our historic former Devine school campus! (For you that are wondering why it was called the “Green Alamo”, more tales about that will be in a future article!)
There are some NEW things going on this year to add to some of our traditions!
NEW We will be at the old “GREEN ALAMO” this year! – Longer social time to go into the evening! – Tour of the building for those who want it. – Twirlers from all years will be honored.
TRADITIONS Class of 1973 honored for their 50th Reunion – Meet up at the Friday night Homecoming Football game & afterward – Saturday DExSTA meeting and social – since 1951!! – Lots of pictures, memorabilia, slide show, & class posters!
Make plans to go Old School with fellow alumni that weekend! All Devine Alumni are invited! Friday Football at Warhorse Stadium & Saturday Social at the VFW (old Green Alamo).
