Devine Police Report Feb. 1-6

Feb. 1
12:43 AM – Officers dispatched in reference to Frio County’s involvement in a vehicle pursuit that wrecked at the weight station. Several occupants believed to be illegal immigrants bailed. All occupants were contained by Border Patrol units.
11:55 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Tuttle Dr. reported a male subject peeled out.
Feb. 2
3:10 AM – Officer dispatched to N. Windy Knoll Dr. in reference to a truck of unknown make, model, and color, with a male and female arguing inside. Unable to locate.
4:20 AM – Officer assisted DPS with a major rollover accident on NB IH-35 access road. Officer provided traffic control until trooper arrived on scene.
Feb. 3
4:50 AM – Officer dispatched to the 200 block of S. Teel Dr. in reference to a male knocking on the door of the business before hours. The male was identified as a Heritage patient.
12:12 PM – Officer assisted with a possible threat made by a male subject at a church in the 500 block of Hwy. 132 N. All was okay.
12:53 PM – Female in the 600 block of Libold Dr. assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. Charges pending.
4:55 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1300 block of Windy Knoll Dr. The female driver was cited for driving without a license and released.
Feb. 4
7:26 AM – Large sign believed to belong to TxDot lying in the roadway in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. Officer removed the sign from the roadway and onto the sidewalk. TxDot was notified.
3:19 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. reported a maroon Chevy truck with the word “security” in white on the driver’s side door driving very slowly around the area and requested a patrol-by. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle, but stayed in the area.
4:16 PM – Complainant on Webb Ave. advised a Hispanic male with red hair was carrying a backpack. Officer made contact with the male subject and identified him. All was okay.
6:56 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Ross reported that several items were taken from the residence. Complainant advised that one male subject and possibly another unidentified male were involved.
10:45 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to an RV blocking the roadway. Contact was made with the owner, who advised that Texas Towing was on the way.
Feb. 5
5:26 AM – Complainant reported a black Chevy pickup driving blacked out; unable to locate.
4:00 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. advised they received a call of a dumpster truck having mechanical issues and requested traffic control. Officer made location but was unable to locate the truck on the roadway; all was okay.
10:18 PM – Resident in the 300 block of N. Bright Dr. advised neighbors were driving recklessly.
Feb. 6
7:50 AM – Physical altercation between two schizophrenic patients in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. Patients were transported to different hospitals.
1:27 PM – An adult male patient in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. was acting out and was transported to Southwest General Hospital for an emergency detention.
4:30 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. advised a white male wearing a red jacket was demanding free food.
