February Meeting
The February meeting of the Devine Garden Club was held at the Rodrigues home in Natalia and hosted by Elsa Rodrigues and Alma Horvath. This meeting was our Spring Plant Sharing, and members brought cuttings, plants, seeds, and bulbs to share with each other. The hostesses served delicious St. Patrick’s Day themed refreshments. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor setting in the covered pavilion.
The business meeting consisted of a discussion of our April 8 rummage and plant sale, adoption of new ‘standing rules’, and a first reading of proposed by-laws. Also discussed was the upcoming District VII Texas Garden Clubs Spring Convention in San Antonio to be held on Wednesday, March 29.
