DHS Band gets straight 1s at Harlandale Marching Festival

The Devine High School Marching Band came away with many big awards this past Saturday from the Harlandale Marching Festival in San Antonio and are looking forward to UIL Marching Contest this Saturday in Hondo, taking the field at 5:15 p.m.

Does anyone recognize this thief caught on camera in Devine?

Resident Brian Dart was recently the victim of theft at his residence in city of Devine on Colonial Pkwy. Four wheels with rims were stolen from outside his home on Friday, September 29 at 3:45pm. He was able to get a video clip from a neighbor’s security cameras of the thief in action.

These tires were stolen from a home in Devine last week. The homeowner is asking for your help in identifying the thief captured in security footage above.

All sub-Varsity football games in Hondo Sept. 28.

According to Devine Athletic Director Chad Quisenberry, all sub-Varsity football games will be played in Hondo tonight.
7th grade A team plays at 5:00 pm, followed by 8th grade A team at 6:15 pm. JV is set for 7:30 pm.
There are no 7th or 8th grade B team games, and no Freshmen game.
