Question: Who are angels?
Answer: According to the Bible they are ministering spirits who worship and serve God, as well as protect and help God’s people.

Psalm 103:20-21 says about angels, “Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.” There are angels always in the presence of God in heaven. Matthew 18:10. Angels are spirits, so they don’t have a physical body, although at times in the Bible they presented themselves to people where they could be seen. Genesis 32:1-2. Three different types of angels are mentioned in the Bible, the cherubims, seraphims, and the archangel. These differing angels have different roles they perform in heaven and at times on earth. People don’t become angels after they die. Angels do help God’s people while they’re here on this earth by protecting and serving them. Hebrews 1:14. Psalm 34:7 Psalm 91:11-12. Also we’re told in Scripture that angels have a part in bringing a saint to the presence of God when they die. Matthew 13:30, 39. Having a guardian angel is a blessing if you’re a Christian, but having Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour is far better. The Bible says the angels rejoice in heaven when a lost sinner accepts salvation through Jesus Christ. Luke 15:10. Have you accepted Jesus? Romans 10:9-10, 13.
