Medina Valley Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting the “Roots, Hooves, & AntlersWorkshop” on Friday, April 27, 2018. This event will take place at Hermann Sons Lodge, 255 Hwy 173 N, Hondo, Texas, from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. All interested farmers, ranchers, landowners, and members of the general public are invited to attend.
Multiple topics will be presented covering Chronic Wasting Disease, Brush Management, Pesticide Laws and Regulations, Oak Wilt, Feral Swine Management, and Drone Use in Agriculture. In addition, local conservation award winners will be recognized.
Five CEUs for private applicator license holders will be credited. Cost to attend this event is $20 if paid prior to April 20 or $25 at the door. Lunch is included in the fee. RSVP required.
