Once again it is time for the Old Iron Trail Ride that benefits the Make-A-Wish of Central & South Texas. So far eighteen children in Medina County and the surrounding area have been granted wishes due to the generosity of donors to the trail ride.
This year the ride will begin at Morales Feed and Supply on Texas Hwy 173 in Devine on Saturday, May 20th, at 8 a.m. and will leave there between 8:30 and 9 a.m. All funds raised by the trail ride will be given to three young men from Devine.
Anyone wishing to join the trail ride can do so with a tractor, restored or not, new or old, that can travel eight to ten miles per hour. Old trucks and cars are also eligible as they are all a part of farm history. Children 16 years or younger can only drive with a parental consent form and supervision.
One hundred percent of the funds raised by the trail ride will be donated to Make-A-Wish to help three young men from Devine.
