Natalia track rounds out season in Regionals


Stiff competition filled Rutledge Stadium last weekend for the Class 3A Region IV Track and Field Meet. Natalia saw their track and field season come to a conclusion, as Uriel Arellano (Discus), Ray Rizo (100 M. Dash) and Dustin Richardson (High Jump) competed hard, but were unable to advance on to the state meet.

High-speed chase across IH-35 ends in foot chase downtown

The driver of the white car (center) led police on a high-speed chase through Natalia, onto IH-35, through Devine, and back to Natalia before trying to escape on foot.

Zapata advances to State in 110M Hurdles

Guido Zapata finished 2nd in the 110M Hurdles and 3rd in the 300M Hurdles.

Twenty-eight of the twenty-nine Warhorse and Arabian track athletes that either competed or went as an alternate at Regional this past weekend in Kingsville completed their 2018 season giving the best they had in hopes of moving on to the State Meet on May 11 and 12 in Austin.
