Initially, Devine ISD wasn’t sure if they would be filling all positions of teachers and staff who had retired or resigned this school year, but Superintendent Scott Sostarich and Finance Director Shannon were happy to announce at the board meeting on June 5 that they will be able to fill those positions.

This year, students of the Devine Intermediate School 5thGrade Recorder Choir collaborated with the San Antonio Symphony in a music education program provided by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute (WMI).

The 4th place trophy was brought home by Natalia’s Invention Team Hydrotech, consisting of Andrew Walsh, Priscilla Seaton, Sean Schroeder, and Anastasia Rodriguez. Their entry was a robotic low-water crossing system to provide safety for drivers in flooding conditions.
The Natalia High School Robotics team competed in the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) State Robotics Contest this weekend.
