6:42 AM – Ruiz-Foster Way @ Cottage St. – Officer responded to a vehicle parked in the grass near Lytle Elementary School. At 2:36 AM, the 2017 Kia Soul was discovered stolen from a residence on Houston St. The owner said nothing of value was taken from the vehicle, but the suspect broke the right rear passenger window to gain entry.

03/12-Information – Officer on duty was patrolling the Love’s Warehouse when approached by an employee who feared possible retaliation by another employee he had reported to management earlier. This report had resulted in disciplinary action being taken against this other employee and this person making verbal threats toward him. He wanted to file a report in order to document his concerns should this other person act on his threats.

7:49 AM – Assist Atascosa County EMS/Emergency Detention – 15900 Blk. Lake Shore Dr. – Officer responded to a mental health crisis and transported a patient to Laurel Ridge Treatment Center in San Antonio.
11:07 AM – 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officer responded to welfare check and could not make contact due to a locked gate.

03-04-2024 – Welfare concern – On duty Officers responded to a call for an intoxicated individual possibly armed with a knife walking the streets, officers arrived and located the individual, no weapons were found. Individual was transported to a facility in San Antonio for treatment.

02-18-2024 Burn Ban Violation – On duty officer responded to a call for a resident in violation of the city’s burn ban. The fire was extinguished and the resident was informed of the current regulations regarding burning in the city.
02-18-2024 Unwanted Person – On duty officer responded to the Chubby’s Truck Stop in response to an individual who was not wanted on the property due to drinking fountain drinks and refusing to pay, the individual was told to leave the property.
