Monday, April 29
7:47 AM – 20100 Blk. IH 35 NB Exit 131 – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
11:00 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers spoke to a complainant regarding a possible scam.


1:50 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a hit-and-run non-injury accident.
2:45 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – IH 35 NB – Officers responded to assist in a vehicle pursuit that originated in Frio County. The black Chevrolet Camaro stopped at MM 133 after crashing into a Medina County Deputy’s patrol unit. DPS threw out spike sticks near the rest area towards Natalia, which resulted in the loss of both front tires of the vehicle. Medina County arrested the driver after the suspect attempted to flee on foot and was captured by Sgt. D. Lopez. The Driver and vehicle were involved in another pursuit in Lytle on April 11, 2024, but got away.
4:28 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a Ford 500.
7:10 PM – 15100 Blk. Magnolia St. – Officer responded to check on a pregnant female.
8:38 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS –19500 Blk. McDonald St – Officer responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
9:33 PM – 15500 Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for no trailer lights, resulting in the vehicle fleeing. The pursuit was canceled for the safety of the public.
10:01 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – 18500 Blk. FM 2790 N. – Officers responded to assist with a vehicle pursuit that had previously run from Lytle PD at 9:33 PM. Officers observed the vehicle at FM 463, where the driver stopped and fled on foot. A 28 year old female was arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention and booked into the Medina County Jail.
11:23 PM – CR 6710 @ Lake View Dr. – Officers initiated a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle that had previously run from the PD. The driver was released after determining it was not the vehicle or driver.
Tuesday, April 30
5:08 AM – 15000 Blk. Short St. – Officer responded to the death of an 83-year-old female.
9:27 AM – 19300 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to an active alarm. The residence was secure.
11:10 AM – 14500 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a vehicle burglary report; it was determined that no burglary occurred.
12:30 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to conduct a fire inspection for a Certificate of Occupancy.
2:39 PM – 14500 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a disturbance, which resulted in an emergency detention for a male having a mental health crisis. The male was transported to the Laurel Ridge Treatment Center.
4:11 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a victim of credit card purchases he did not authorize.
5:12 PM – 14700 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a parent-juvenile incident.
10:07 PM – 15500 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for no headlights, resulting in a vehicle and foot pursuit. A 54 year old male was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Evading in a Motor Vehicle, Evading on Foot, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Correctional facility. The 1996 Dodge Pickup was released to Friendly Glenn’s Towing, and subject was booked into the Medina County Jail.

5:11 AM – 19300 Blk. N. Prairie St. – Officers responded to a report of dogs barking.
9:05 AM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers escorted a track member to all schools and out of the city.
9:44 AM – 11500 Blk. Laredo St – Officer responded to unlock a 2017 Kia Forte.
10:15 AM – Open Range @ Wyatt Earp Way – Officer observed an unauthorized brush burn by a construction company.
4:57 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 3900 Blk. SH 132 – Officer responded outside the city of Lytle to assist with a child having a medical emergency.
7:44 PM – 15100 Blk. Norvelle St. – Officer responded to a 911 hang up.
7:55 PM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officers conducted a site visit regarding the Fire Code.
9:42 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado.
Thursday, May 02
12:51 PM – 19800 Blk. Doc Holiday Dr – Officers responded to a report of someone in her front yard but could not locate them.
9:06 AM – 15100 Blk. Magnolia St. – Officer provided a civil standby for a female moving out of a residence and gave her a courtesy ride.
9:50 AM – Lytle PD – Officer received information regarding a female returning to the Lytle area suffering from a mental crisis.
11:56 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – Los Palomas @ Cielo Way – Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to a report of a man with a gun attempting to stop a vehicle repossession. The male fled and was detained by deputies.
12:00 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officers attended the National Day of Prayer with local pastors and residents.
5:00 PM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers attended the Student Showcase at the High School.
6:55 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officer responded to a female needing a ride home. Her sister was contacted.
7:02 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers responded to a report of a male attempting to enter the facility but having departed before the officer’s arrival.
8:15 PM – Magnolia @ S. Benton St. – Officer provided a ride to a female to the Grand Somerset Apartments.
9:45 PM – 18900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officer responded regarding a German Sheppard that repeatedly leaves the yard.
11:25 PM – 14400 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle that resulted in the arrest of the passenger, a 29 year old female, for possession of a controlled substance. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail. The driver, a 41 year old female, received a citation for Driving While License Invalid, No Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Friday, May 03
1:39 AM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
2:15 PM – 18600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers initiated a traffic stop for no seatbelt, which resulted in the arrest of a 40 year old male out of Bexar County for Discharge Firearm in a Municipality. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
2:15 PM – IH 35 SB MM 132 – Officers responded to a female who had lost two chairs out of the bed of her pickup. Officers assisted in reloading the chairs and getting her safely on the highway.
8:01 PM – 19200 Blk. N. Benton St. – Officers responded to an active alarm. The home was secure.
8:49 PM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officers responded to a group of children running around a vehicle.
9:39 PM – 19200 Blk. First St. – Officers responded to a 911 hang up.

10:17 AM – 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officer responded to check on a caller’s son.
1:55 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe.
2:00 PM – 15000 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer responded to a report of a high TV bill.
3:24 PM – IH 35 NB @ MM 132 – Officer responded and removed a wooden post from the roadway.
4:13 PM – 19600 Blk. Florence St. – Officer responded to an active alarm. The homeowner set off the alarm accidentally.
4:55 PM – 63000 Blk. Cortez Rd. – Officers responded to a 911 hang up.
6:21 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 19800 Blk. IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
9:47 PM – 14800 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer observed an open vehicle door while on patrol.
10:00 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a report of an open door. The building was secured.
10:15 PM – Lytle PD – Officers received a mini drone discovered in a resident’s backyard.
Sunday, May 05
2:36 AM – IH 35 SB Frontage Rd @ FM 3175 – Officer initiated a traffic stop for running a stop sign, which resulted in the arrest of a 24 year old male for Driving While Intoxicated. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
4:50 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office –19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident. The officer discovered that the minor incident occurred outside the city limits of Lytle.
8:16 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – The officer responded to a report of two damaged storage unit locks that were damaged to make entry. It is unknown what was taken at this time. PD is awaiting contact from the renters.
10:05 AM – Lytle PD – Officers spoke to a parent regarding child custody.
6:34 PM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officers responded to a customer’s verbal disturbance, but the customer left before the officer arrived.
7:21 PM – Assist Lytle VFD – 63200 Blk. SH 132 – Officers responded to discover a resident burning a small pile of trash. The resident extinguished the fire.
8:49 PM – Main St. – Officers responded but could not locate the silver SUV.
