This is a charity run for Medina County Brown Santa and Haven for Hope on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Registration starts at 8:00 am and the run will begin at 9:00 am. The 5K will take place in the field next to Devine High School. To participate donate an unwrapped toy (minimum of $10) or new socks. There will be prizes for the best dressed and winners in different age divisions! FCCLA members will also provide babysitting and activities for kids that choose not to run.
Devine FCCLA is hosting an event to inform community members about fostering children and becoming a foster parent!
Leading the session is Arleana Grissom from Angels Crossing in Castroville. Angels Crossing is a fostering program established to ensure children and families have the necessary means to live full and abundant lives as demonstrated within a Christian perspective.
This event will take place on Saturday, December 16 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Devine City Park located at the intersection of Windy Knoll and Colonial Parkway.
Come out and learn what fostering is about and how the process works. FCCLA members who are CPR certified will provide children with childcare and activities.

Ladies of all faiths, ages, and walks of life are invited to join us for great fellowship, worship, singing, and food on Thursday, December 14 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Medina Valley Church of the Nazarene.
Nicholle Franke will share an inspiring message titled “Choosing Revival in the midst of Busyness.” The church is located on Hwy 132, one mile north of Food King.
Please call in a reservation to 830-663-5253 and bring a friend. Childcare is provided at no charge by reservation at the same number. Children need to bring a sack lunch.
