Warhorse golf finishes 2nd in Pleasanton

Devine’s golf team secured a 2nd place finish in their first tournament of the year last Friday and Saturday over in Pleasanton. Uvalde finished in 1st place with a two-day score of 682. The Devine Tennis Team won place at the Annual Small But Mighty Tennis Tournament in Uvalde this past weekend. Our kids did a great job winning several medals again.

Arabians start season with win over Pleasanton

The Varsity Arabians kicked off the softball season in style with a 10-8 win over the Pleasanton Lady Eagles last Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Freshman Warhorses drop season finale to Carrizo Springs

The freshman Warhorse basketball team couldn’t overcome a slow offensive start which had them scoring only 4 first quarter points and down by 3 points. The scoring picked up, however, and Devine had a 30 to 27 lead entering the final quarter but eventually lost the close ballgame 42 to 40.

Colts and Fillys track off and running

Friday night was a great night to be a part of the Colt and Filly track program. The athletes competed in Pearsall for their season opener and the coaching staff could not be more impressed with what they saw. Pearsall ran the track meet off in a practice meet manner which allowed many DMS athletes to go home with ribbons as many placed well within their heats.
