Neva (Pauline) Baker age 92 of Haughton, LA passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 in Minden, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Horrell Eschol Baker and Wayne Murrell Baker, Sr.; parents, LeRoy Beene and Emma Jane (Travis) Mead; son, Wayne Baker, Jr; sisters, Frances Perkins and Joyce Collier; brother, Alton Mead.
She is survived by her son, H.E. (Tex) Baker and wife Mindy of Winder, GA; daughters, Neva (Dee) Stewart and husband Patrick of Chapel Hill, TN, Sherron Monroe of Decatur, AL, Marlene Wunder and husband Bud of Caney, KS, Eve Boone and husband Curby of Anadarko, OK, and Mari Terra and husband Jose of Haughton, LA; brother, Ronald Mead and wife Joy of Vancouver, WA; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
