William Edward Bedinghaus, of Castroville, passed away on November 22, 2019 at the age of 77 years. He was born August 28, 1942 in Alice, Texas to Alton and Shirley Lightfoot Bedinghaus.
On October 3, 2008, William married Thanh Huyen“Jenny” Nguyen in Ventura, California.
William graduated from Washburn University in Topeka, KS, beginning a successful career as a salesman. After becoming a born-again Christian, he ministered the Word of God throughout the world. In his later years he started a water purification business and enjoyed developing ranches in south Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny Bedinghaus; son, Kale Bedinghaus and daughters, Janna Gantt and Keri Kimbrell; grandchildren, Edward Paul Bedinghaus, Jacqueline Bedinghaus and Keri Ann Bedinghaus; daughter-in-law, Aide Bedinghaus; brother, John Bedinghaus as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Shirley Lightfoot Bedinghaus; son, Joel Kreg Bedinghaus and brothers, Chuck Bedinghaus and James Bedinghaus.
Visitation and gathering will be Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 starting at 11:30 am at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
