Warhorses finish season in Bi-District loss to Pearsall

The Warhorses baseball season has ended for the year. They fell to Pearsall in the Bi-District playoff games over the weekend. The Warhorses end this year 8-17 after 3 tournaments and a short season.
In their first game against Pearsall, Devine’s solo run came in the bottom of the 7th when Gabriel Esquibel doubled, Samuel Guardiola singled, and then Esquibel stole home when Jacob Barron was at bat. The final score was 1-9.
Colin Dishman 1 single. Guardiola 1 single, Esquibel 1 double, 1 run. Justin Contreras 1 single. Barron 1 double. Samuel Mills threw 14 strikes in 26 pitches. Robert Ramirez 10 strikes in 20 pitches. Caden Hanson 25 strikes in 59 pitches. Michael Alers 19 strikes in 32 pitches.
On Friday, the Warhorses had 12 hits and 5 runs but fell 5-11. Top of the 2nd, Colin Dishman doubles. Contreras triples and Dishman scored, 1-0. Esquibel singles and Contreras scores, 2-0. Roger Gutierrez hits a ground ball and Esquibel was throw out. Guardiola singles. Barron singles to load the bases. 2 outs. Hadyn Brummage singles and Gutierrez scores, 3-0. Guardiola steals home, 4-0. Top of the 7th, 1 out, Camden White singles, Brummage singles, Alers was hit by a pitch. Dishman hit a ground ball and White scored before the final out.
Dishman 1 double, 1 RBI, 1 run. Guardiola 1 single, 1 run. White 1 single, 1 run. Esquibel 1 single, 1 RBI. Contreras 1 triple, 1 RBI, 1 run. Sage Cruz 1 single/ Gutierrez 1 run. Brummage 4 singles, 1 RBI. Barron 2 singles. Dishman threw 44 strikes in 78 pitches and Barron had 30 strikes in 47 pitches.
