Warhorses 2-0 in district with win over Pearsall

The Warhorses continue to push hard and win in district. With only one game last week, they beat Pearsall 74-54 on January 21st. Now with a 15-9 overall and 2-0 district record, the Warhorses played in Hondo last night, Carrizo Springs Jan. 31st, Crystal City Feb. 4th, Pearsall Feb. 7th, Hondo Feb 14th, and Carrizo Springs Feb. 18th to finish district.
Ending the first quarter 18-7, Justin Contreras lead with 10 points and Sergio Martinez had a three pointer. They continued to press hard in the second to the end the half 35-18. Colin Dishman and J. Contreras lead with 4 each while Jose Dozel, Mason Burford, and Xavier Contreras each sank a three.
The Warhorses kept putting the ball back into J. Contreras hands for 9 points in the third. Dalton Kramer and Martinez sank a three pointers. In the final quarter, Kramer lead the Warhorses two baskets and 3 free throws scoring 7 of the teams 20 points in the final quarter. The Warhorses dominated the entire game winning 74-54.
